Contact me----Call me (432-634-0612 or 432-682-7302) or e-mail me (noblesmom@sbcglobal.net) and we will discuss your quilt. We will discuss quilting options, prices and scheduling. Prepare your quilt top and quilt backing----For the best possible results, you will want to do a few simple things. Clip all threads so they will not show through. Dark threads may be very obvious underneath light colored fabric. Press your top and backing. Your quilt backing fabric and quilt batting will need to be approximately 8 inches longer and 8 inches wider than your quilt top. Is your quilt top and backing square? This means that if the quilt top or backing is placed on the floor or a flat surface, it will lay flat. This is especially important for quilting on a longarm machine. If there are "ruffles" in the edge of the quilt when it is stretched on the machine, this will cause tucks or puckers. To view instructions on sewing on borders click on "BORDERS". Choose your batting----A good quality batting will provide better results. Due to the way the top, backing and batting are placed on the longarm quilting machine, the batting must not "fall apart." If you prefer, you may purchase the batting from me. Shipping the quilt----Send your quilt to "Margaret Nobles, 2400 Keswick, Midland, TX 79705" I suggest a sturdy box with your quilt wrapped in a plastic bag just in case the box gets wet. Insurance is optional, but a good idea. When I receive your quilt, I will measure it and calculate the charges. I will mail or e-mail the invoice to you. I will only start quilting after I receive your approval of the plan and charges. Your completed quilt----When your quilt is finished, I will notify you. I will ship the quilt back to you after receiving payment. I accept PayPal, checks or money orders. If you send a personal check, I will ship your quilt after the check clears my bank.
